Favorite Movie Poster

This has to be one of my favorite movie posters of all time, simply because of how clean and balanced it is. The reds are very striking, and they are the first things you look at. It's also very good that red is mainly on the things of focus. The Japanese language in red covers a visible title, giving the poster a sort of underground feel to it. Then there's the main character walking over to a stylistically designed bike. This too helps give the poster the tone of a biker gang. However, the subtitle, "The end of the world was only the beginning," adds a layer of depth to the poster, as well as providing foreshadowing. The Akira logo is big and bold behind the Japanese text as if to say that there's something bigger going on in the background. The poster is simple, yet very effective in gauging a viewer's interest as first glance.
